Started this last summer...but like most things this past year, I've not had the time to finish until recently.

I prefer drawing them normally [as in trying to get a comic style that gets as close to a likeness as I can] but for this I wanted to try this crew in a mangaish style. It's not a perfect conversion, and still feels more "American" to me [which might be a good thing]. But I'm pretty happy with it.

Yeah...this looks very American/Western, but I'd say one (there are more, but this is big) of the reasons for that is the colouring--it's very typical of the things I see in American comics these days. Very. The style, too, instantly makes me think "modern American comic." But that's not a criticism, per se. I don't necessarily like modern American comics, but since ST:TNG is such a western thing, it's not bad that it's not in a manga style. XD

Dude this is totally awesome. I can see the manga-ish set-up cause I have some Naruto posters have have this set-up. Very nice background colors.
