I missing quite a few people from this (most of which are the characters that I really don't like at all) but here a chibish type drawing of some of the fighters from Soul Calibur (this is from the original...the 2nd doesn't come out until around August)...some of my coloring got kind of sloppy toward the end and poor Siegfried's armor looks a bit wacked, but other wise I'm quite happy with this. Lineart scanned and colored in Photoshop, thanks guys!
Whee! I now feel inspired to draw more people than just Siggy... Hee hee, that look on Maxi's face is quite amusing. And I love Ivy's hair.. *pokes PhotoShop* Why don't you work that way for me, hmmm?
Hahaha! I love Cervantes expression! And SIEGFRIED~~~~~~ No matter what style he's in, he's still cute all the same!!!!! *faint* And Maxi... he's in a dangerous position... to be sitting in front of Astaroth... (actually, the same goes for Cervantes.... Ivy might just stab him in the back...)
Cool pic. The only thing I would fix is cleaning up the lineart befor you color. But at least you my fav character Shung- Mina( not sure how to spell it)
Well, here's a scary thought... Astaroth makes a cute chibi. And Voldo! EEeeeeee!! (I think that's Voldo... unless I'm confused... which I usually am...)
This pic is too cute for words, and the coloring must have been a pain in the hiney. I bow to your effort and odd choice in chibis!

Shame they don't have a "Deviation is KICKASS!!!" option.
Seriously though. "Astaroth" and "cute" are two words that shouldn't appear in the same sentance, but there ya go. Lizard Man looks cool, though he's kinda stuck behind the others. Maxi has got a great expression (though you didn't really capture his Elvis hair *sigh*) and MITSURUGI! YEAH! Fear the samurai with the 5 'o clock shadow!
All around, this is sweet, sweet, sweet.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
